Cindy Caruso Aquila joined ZRG in 2021 as Chief Human Resources Officer. Cindy leads HR globally and drives enterprise-wide global human capital strategy, including talent management, leadership development, organizational design, culture & engagement, total rewards and diversity, equity & inclusion. As a member of the Executive Committee, Cindy partners with the leadership team and practice leaders to ensure that ZRG continues to build a culture which attracts, retains, and develops teams who achieve excellence.

Cindy possesses nearly 30 years of HR leadership experience. Before joining ZRG, she was the Chief People Officer and Head of Communications for Global Holdings Management Group. Prior to that, Cindy worked at BNY Mellon for seven years as the Global Head of Human Resources for Investment Management, where she led people strategies for over 5,500 global employees. Cindy’s earlier career experience included HR leadership roles at ING Investment Management, CIT, Citigroup, Pepsi-Cola Company, and Ingersoll-Rand.

She holds a BS degree from Cornell University’s School of Industrial & Labor Relations.

Cindy is an active volunteer and supports a variety of charitable organizations both in New York and New Jersey. She also sits on the Leadership Committee for the Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal of the Archdiocese of New York and is a member of both the executive board and the rebuild committee at the Academy and Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Franklin Lakes. Cindy is a former trustee and development committee chair for Cristo Rey New York High School in Harlem, a college preparatory school for underprivileged children.

She is married with two young children and a golden retriever. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling abroad and visiting New Jersey beaches.
