Acres of Diamonds

Acres of Diamonds is seeking a Senior Director of Development who will hold a high-impact senior leadership role with substantial strategic authority and direct influence on the organization’s future. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, this position will be the primary leader for all fundraising, donor relations, capital campaigns, and community engagement initiatives at Acres of Diamonds. The Sr. Director will lead a team of three revenue generating development professionals and the Sr. Manager of Operations & Projects, while personally managing a select portfolio of top donors.  This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape the philanthropic future at Acres of Diamonds, as the organization recently began a 3-year strategic planning process, which the Senior Director will play a leadership role in creating.

Acres of Diamonds is a faith-based nonprofit organization committed to helping women and children break cycles of generational poverty, addiction, abuse, trauma, and homelessness through long-term, relationship-centered care. Founded in 1995, Acres of Diamonds was created from a belief that families deserve more than temporary shelter or short-term intervention. They believe lasting transformation happens when women and children are surrounded by stable relationships, practical support, accountability, and a community that believes in their future. Their residential program serves women and children experiencing housing instability and significant life challenges by providing safe housing, counseling, mentoring, parenting support, life-skills development, educational advocacy, and opportunities for emotional and spiritual healing.
