Coleman Sisson and Mike Utley
It's hard to believe it's been 3 years since we lost one of the most unique and popular superstars of all time- the incomparable Jimmy Buffett. This event brings together two key figures behind the Jimmy Buffett empire: the producer and musical director who shaped the sound of the Coral Reefer Band and Buffett's Broadway hit Escape to Margaritaville, and the tech mastermind behind Radio Margaritaville and the entire Margaritaville digital ecosystem. Together, they'll pull back the curtain on how music and technology built one of entertainment's most iconic brands.
Coleman Sisson is the founder and CEO of BubbleUp, the premier web development and marketing agency in the music industry, serving clients like Luke Bryan, Aerosmith, KISS, and Jimmy Buffett. He's also Jimmy Buffett's longtime technology consultant, having created and managed Radio Margaritaville, Margaritaville TV, and the broader Margaritaville digital ecosystem.
Mike Utley is a multi-talented musician, producer, and composer with five decades in the music industry working with legends including Jimmy Buffett, Jerry Jeff Walker, Aretha Franklin, and Duane Allman. He's best known for his decades-long partnership Buffett—producing 20 albums including the No. 1 hit License to Chill, serving as musical director of the Coral Reefer Band since 1993, and orchestrating the Broadway musical Escape to Margaritaville.
