Rochelle Park, NJ, September 10, 2020 – ZRG, recently named the fastest-growing global executive search firm, welcomes Alan Johns as Managing Director. He will bring three decades of higher education and healthcare experience to the firm’s Healthcare and Not-for-Profit & Education practice groups.
Alan’s background in academic medicine and higher education makes him a distinguished advisor and recruiter for healthcare systems, hospitals, cancer centers, public and private universities, and their research organizations. Across assignments, he always puts his client’s mission, culture, and strategic objectives first when identifying and presenting candidates. His successful placements have included CEOs, CFOs, CMOs, Administrators, Deans, Department Chairs, Division Chiefs, Cancer Center Directors, Research Scholars, and more.
Prior to executive search, Alan’s career included tenures with Duke University School of Medicine and Cancer Center, Virginia Commonwealth University, Georgia Tech, and Emory University Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing. Most recently, he was CFO and Associate Vice Dean for Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. Maintaining strong relationships with his prior colleagues at these organizations remains a priority for Alan.
