Charlie Gray Joins ZRG’s Hub Recruiting Division, Strengthening Leadership in People Strategy and Operations

Charlie joins ZRG as a Managing Director, bringing nearly three decades of extensive experience in people strategy and operations.

Charlie Gray is a seasoned executive who has made significant contributions to the success of technology, media, and healthcare companies throughout his illustrious career. His journey began with a key role in shaping the growth of Google's advertising sales team, where he played an active part in developing the company's People Operations framework, going beyond traditional HR functions.

Following his tenure at Google, Charlie continued to make a mark in the industry by contributing his expertise to various startups, including RecycleBank and Patch. At Patch, he held executive positions such as Chief People Officer and EVP of HR & Operations, overseeing the company's remarkable growth from 100 employees to 1,500 in just one year.

In 2012, Charlie founded Gray Scalable, a leading consultancy based in New York City. Gray Scalable quickly gained prominence for providing comprehensive services to growing tech startups, specializing in embedded recruiting (RPO), executive search, interim HR solutions, and compensation consulting. Under Charlie's leadership, the company served over 200 early- to mid-stage companies, boasting a client list that included notable names such as SoundCloud, BuzzFeed, and Skillshare.
