Ed Whipple Brings Recruitment and Succession Planning Expertise to ZRG’s Financial Officers Practice

Ed brings broad experience conducting key recruiting and succession planning assignments within the Financial function. He will work in ZRG’s Atlanta office.
Ed’s diligent and hands-on techniques have proven successful at every step of the executive search process. Working closely with his clients to align their talent needs and business strategies, he has established a reputation as a trusted advisor to organizations at the intersection of the Financial function and Industrial and Private Equity sectors.
Ed has completed over 200 engagements, including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer, Corporate Controller, Corporate Development Directors, Division Finance Executives, and Strategic Pricing Leaders. Among other concentrations, he specializes in completing multiple assignments simultaneously with his client partners, such as the build-out of senior executive teams and finance leadership teams.
Previously, Ed was a Consultant in the Global Industrial and Financial Officers Practices of a Top Four retained executive search firm, serving private equity-backed and global industrial clients as well as publicly traded blue chip companies. While there, he amassed a network of executives across the industrial services, distribution, energy, technology, diversified manufacturing, infrastructure, retail, consumer, supply chain, and professional services industries.
