Vaughan joined ZRG Partners in 2017 as a Managing Director. Based in Connecticut, Vaughan is part of senior leadership responsible for heading up the Insurance and Financial Services practice. Prior to joining ZRG Partners, Vaughan was the Founder and Principal of the M Consulting Group, where he built a successful boutique retained search and business consulting firm.
Previous Experience
Prior to joining the executive search world in 2005, Vaughan enjoyed a 20-year career in the Insurance industry. Throughout his career, Vaughan was a key contributor in senior leadership positions at John Hancock Financial Services, Manulife Financial, Marsh & McLennan, and CIGNA. Vaughan’s primary career focus was on sales and sales management, and he was a consistent leader as a Wholesaler as well as Regional and National Sales Manager. In addition, Vaughan has a diversified background including insurance, investment management, leadership, recordkeeping, transition management, client relationship management, and operations.

Vaughan’s recruiting specialties are focused in all major insurance and financial services market sectors: Investment Management, Insurance and Annuities, Retirement Plans, and Workplace Benefits. Vaughan focuses on senior and executive-level management, sales (institutional, retail and wholesale), sales leadership, product development, and marketing positions.
Education
Vaughan is a graduate of Bryant University, where he was a two-sport athlete and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Vaughan is also completing his Master of Science degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of Hartford. During his career, Vaughan has held an Accredited Pension Representative (APR) designation from the National Institute of Pension Administrators and held FINRA Series 6, 24, 63, 65 & 7 licenses.
