Michael Reckers is a Managing Director and leads ZRG’s German/Austrian/Swiss Interim Solutions business, delivering short-term solutions to clients in various industries. He has over 20 years’ experience in Executive Interim Management with a strong track record of placing C-level interim executives and their direct reports.
Previous Experience
Prior to joining ZRG, Michael was CEO of a boutique Executive Interim Management firm in Germany for four years. Over the last two decades, he has had the opportunity to build up businesses from scratch and see these businesses evolve. Helping people from their first step in this industry to becoming leaders themselves has been exciting for him. He also provides solutions to his clients most pressing challenges.

During his career, Michael has gained experience in various national and international Executive Search & Recruitment Companies, with changing national and international responsibilities. Recently, he served as Global Managing Director for the Interim Management & Board Solutions business for an international executive search company. Aside from his career in Executive Interim Management, he has worked for two international industrial companies in Recruitment (responsibility for Senior Management Hires in EMEA) as well as in HR (General, Payroll, and Projects).
Michael’s focus has always been placing Executive Interim Managers across industries and functions. He has successfully placed candidates in the areas of Restructuring, Transformation, Finance, HR, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales & Marketing.
Education
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and has completed an apprenticeship.

Outside of work, Michael spends time with his family and can be found enjoying various sports activities (e.g., fitness, running, soccer, snowboarding).
