Gregory M. Sparzo serves as a Managing Director for ZRG Partners. He has lead search engagements across North America with an emphasis on finding top quality leadership in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, biologics, analytics and informatics. He often expands to the areas adjacent to and supportive of those fields, including health insurers, providers and companies that serve those markets. He is particularly partial to scientists, engineers, leaders and people who make a meaningful impact on their businesses and markets.
Mr.Sparzo began his career with large companies such as GE capital, Kodak and Pfizer before spending 15 years in consulting, entrepreneurship and engineering. He was a professor for the MBA program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1995 – 2008. In 2007, he published a book about the coming talent shortage and how to make one’s company a “magnet for smart people.” Greg is currently working on the second edition.
Mr. Sparzo attended the University of Connecticut earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He earned a Masters in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has done doctoral work at Northeastern University in Boston.“My primary focus is in life sciences, medical devices, pharma and manufacturing/engineering with some data analytics and big data thrown in.
