Gerry Ricco is a Managing Director and senior member of ZRG Partners Financial Services, Private Equity and Board practices. He focuses primarily on senior-level executive assignments and business expansion projects for U.S and global companies in Commercial Lending, Banking, Asset Based Lending, Equipment Leasing, Factoring, and Specialty Finance.
He is also actively engaged in chief executive officer and board advisory assignments, including succession and executive assessment projects. He combines an inquisitive, creative mind with skills in solving client problems relating to talent and business growth. Gerry joined ZRG Partners in 2003.

Before joining the firm Gerry was the President of American Express Business Finance, formally Rockford Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROCF) a capital equipment commercial finance and leasing company. From 1984 to 1999 Gerry was the CEO and President of Rockford Industries, Inc. He was instrumental in building the company’s infrastructure along with its capital and debt structures. From lines of credit, securitizations, UNL facilities, commercial paper conduits and preferred stock investments. In 1995 Gerry help lead the company to a successful IPO (NASDAQ; ROCF). For 4-years Gerry continued to help grow the company to $300mm in assets, and in 1999 helped lead the company to a successful acquisition by American Express Company.

Gerry also has direct business experience as a consultant and senior advisor to many different sectors of lending from ABL, Trade Finance, Factoring and Sub-prime / Specialty Finance.
Prior to his career in lending, Gerry was the founder and President of a successful energy firm that provided Solar Energy solutions as well as a captive finance arm that provided innovative tax based lending solutions.
